Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (バンパイアハンターD) is an anime film written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri. The film is based on the third novel of Hideyuki Kikuchi's Vampire Hunter D series, D - Demon Deathchase. It was released in North America at the Fantasia Film Festival in July 2000. The film was released in Japanese theatres on April 21, 2001.
