The Snow Queen (Russian: Снежная королева) is a Russian 3D computer-animated film directed by Maxim Sveshnikov and Vladlen Barbe. It was produced by Wizart Animation studio in Voronezh and is based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen. The movie was released on December 31, 2012 in Russia and internationally on January 3, 2013. The film was released in the U.S. in VOD on October 10, 2013, in theaters stateside on October 11, 2013 and on DVD January 28, 2014.
