The Adventures of Mowgli is a Russian animated film based on Rudyard Kipling's 1894 book The Jungle Book. It was originally released in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics between 1967 and 1971 as five animated shorts before being combined into a feature-length film in 1973. The film was released in the United States in 1996.
