Rurouni Kenshin: Part I: Origins (るろうに剣心) is a Japanese film adaptation of the manga written by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The film was directed by Keishi Ōtomo. The film was theatrically released on August 25, 2012 in Japan. The film will be released in North America on Blu-Ray and DVD by FUNimation Entertainment on November 1, 2016 and will also be screened between August 8, 2016 and August 10, 2016.
