Romeo × Juliet (ロミオ×ジュリエット) is an anime television series loosely based on William Shakespeare's classical play, Romeo and Juliet. The series originally aired in Japan between April 4, 2007 and September 26, 2007, consisting of 24 episodes. The series was released in North America on DVD by FUNimation Entertainment between June 23, 2009 and August 11, 2009.
