Paprika (パプリカ) is a 2006 Japanese animated science fiction psychological thriller film directed by Satoshi Kon. The film is based on the 1993 novel Paprika by author Yasutaka Tsutsui. The film was released in Japan on November 25, 2006, and was later released in North America on May 24, 2007.
