Elfen Lied (エルフェンリート) is an anime television series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Lynn Okamoto. The series originally aired in Japan between July 25, 2004 and October 17, 2004. The series was released in North America on DVD by ADV Films between May 17, 2005 and November 15, 2005.
